Phew!

We have had such a busy weekend! Yesterday Tony and Thomas went to the YMCA for Thomas' basketball game. Stella and I went to the pool with my friend Melissa and her daughter Sarah. The girls had so much fun together. It is so sweet to watch the girls becoming good friends. Melissa and I were saying we will love having pictures of the girls at this age and then at their high school graduation! After his game, Thomas came over to the pool but our fun was cut short when Thomas picked up a yellow-jacket and quickly learned that bees sting!

Today we went for a nice brunch then to a playground but it was sooooo hot! The twins wanted to see the new Dinosaur movie at the Orlando Science Center. We made it through most of the movie and they loved it.


We wanted to wish our Great Grandma Audrey a very happy 80th birthday!! We love you!

Happy Birthday Sam!

Tonight we went to baby Sam's birthday party. It was so sweet to see Sam turn one with all of his family and friends.

The twins were thrilled that Miss Kelly was there.



However, their favorite part was singing "Happy Birthday" to Sam. He had this great Elmo cake for his guests while he had his yummy and healthy cake.



There was plenty of entertainment too! Thomas quickly befriended Conner, who happened to have a big boat.


Tony made Stella a pirate hat and she had fun showing off.


Overall, it was a great party!!

Aunt Erin

Longboat Key

We just returned home from Longboat Key. The kids had such a fun time. We stayed at The Sandpiper Inn.

It was gorgeous!


It was so hot....

...so we played at the beach...



...and swam in the pool all weekend long.

First, the kids had to get their swimmies on:


And then two little fishes did not get out of the pool!





When I asked the kids what their favorite part of the weekend was, they both said playing with their cousins. We (finally) got to meet beautiful baby Kai:


And they played with baby Nik (who is now little man Nik), Madison, Max, and Jake!

Vintage Footage

Hello! We are busy getting ready for our weekend in Longboat Key with our family. I think there will be over 10 cousins there! Thomas and Stella are going to have a blast. We are also going to celebrate Grandma Audrey's 80th birthday which is actually at the end of this month. I will be sure to post lots of pictures! To tide you over, enjoy some vintage footage of Stella with the hiccups circa 2006. It is such a cute video. You will hear us ask Stella, "where are we going?" and Stella says, "weeeeee". That is what she used to call the playground; we always used to say "weeeeee" when we pushed her on the swings:-)

Thank You!!

All the prayers worked. We received very good news today that Thomas passed his test!! Thanks Papa for driving over (again). It was a traumatic day for everyone but the final outcome was good!!

Thomas has to have a procedure done at the hospital tomorrow morning. It is not going to be a fun day for him. After the procedure, we will find out if he has to repeat the procedure next year. We need all of your prayers that tomorrow is the last time! Thank you in advance!!

Our Fun Saturday

We enjoyed a fun Saturday at the YMCA. Thomas played another great game.


Stella was dressed and ready to cheer!

She made it through her first cheer and then was ready to go home.

I think the highlight of the day is still the fact that Papa comes over to watch them.


Or maybe it was the ice cream sundae's afterwards.

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July!! We were so lucky to spend the 4th with my good friend Shannon and her beautiful daughter, Maggie. It was the first time that the twins met Maggie and they quickly became fast friends.


We went to the Orlando Science Center and played for a bit and then spread out a blanket on the observatory deck and waited for the fireworks to begin. The kids entertained us by shaking some booty!!

It started to rain and was very crowded so we hopped in our truck and drove to the top of the parking garage to see some fireworks.

It was wet but it was so nice to spend time with Shannon and Maggie. We can't wait to see them tomorrow night too before they head out to Miami.

Monkey Joe's

Today we took the kids to Monkey Joe's, an indoor play center. It was so much fun. The kids really love bounce houses so you should have seen their eyes when we walked in.

It was really a fun day. I think Daddy may take the kids back tomorrow!
